QLM Technology is a UK-based photonics technology and analytics company, with the main operational facility located within EPIC, in Paignton.
QLM has developed a unique Quantum Gas Lidar that uses laser imaging to locate and accurately quantify emission rates of greenhouse gases (GHGs) over distances of 200 metres. The measurement system also enables visualisation of the gases, simplifying the location of leaks. With simple visualisation and precise quantification QLM’s technology enables customers to identify their largest GHG emitters for remediation in the most cost-effective manner.
Deployed globally across Oil and Gas infrastructure, landfill sites, wastewater treatment works, biogas installations and scientific studies, QLM’s lidar technology is inherently scalable to low cost at high volume, enabling wide deployment.
