Torre Abbey
Torre Abbey is Torbay’s most historic building, an ancient scheduled monument dating back to 1196 and set within 18 acres of garden and parkland.
The English Riviera Airshow has been wowing spectators annually since 2016. Held over two days on the first weekend in June, it is the first event in the UK’s Airshow calendar. There are spectacular flying displays and an exciting programme of events on the ground too.
The Airshow is free to attend and is funded by various partners – Torbay Council, English Riviera BID Company and corporate sponsors, individual donors and many others.
The skies over the Bay’s natural amphitheatre will again come alive with some of the world’s best aviation display teams from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June 2025. With the date for the 2025 event confirmed, the challenge starts again to seek community support for the free to attend event. The English Riviera Airshow team is already hard at work, with opportunities now available for businesses and residents to be part of the crew.
